Two ERCOT DC ties that connect to the east grid to close for planned outages

American Electric Power's 600-MW East DC Tie and Oncor Electric Delivery Company’s 220-MW North DC Tie will both be closed for planned outages, according to Electric Reliability Council of Texas operations messages. The North DC Tie outage is scheduled from 8 am CT Thursday through 5 pm May 14 for maintenance, while the East DC Tie outage is scheduled from 7 am to 4 pm Monday, according to ERCOT.
