ERCOT electric power spot prices dropped down on Wednesday, withsupply-side fundamentals giving downwards pressure to prices.ERCOT North Hub real-time on-peak with delivery on Thursday wastrading around $42.85/MWh, almost $17 under the Tuesday’sIntercontinental Exchange settled price of $59.8/MWh. This is one ofthe largest day on day drops seen this year.ERCOT North Hub real-time off-peak also moved in the samedirection, trading at around $14.85/MWh, about $2.65/MWh lower thanthe Tuesday’s ICE settlement price of $17.00/MWh.
