Cal-ISO adds 190 MW of capacity, mostly solar, over past month

152-MW solar power plant and a 38-MW upgrade for a natural gasfiredgenerator came online in the California Independent SystemOperator over the past month, a Generation Interconnection QueueReport generated Tuesday shows, but wind and battery projectstotaling 710 MW were withdrawn.In all, the ISO so far has added 1,025 MW of solar capacity and 216MW of natural gas-fired capacity in 2019, and it is scheduled to add 300MW of solar, 12 MW of solar-plus-storage, and 964 MW of wind capacityfor the remainder of 2019, only counting projects with executedinterconnection agreements.
