Lower demand as Christmas approaches, unseasonably warm weatherand low natural gas prices aligned Monday to drive down the value ofspot power prices in Texas.The value of on-peak day-ahead power fell somewhat at theElectric Reliability Council of Texas’ North Hub for Tuesday delivery onthe Intercontinental Exchange. Limited bid and offer activity showedthat the price was in the upper $10s/MWh, down from Friday’ssettlement price of $23.23/MWh.On-peak real-time for Tuesday fell $2.25 on ICE from its settlementprice of $20.25/MWh.
