Southeast, East Texas spot gas decline as wind, temperatures to rise

Cash prices for Saturday-through-Monday flows of natural gas in the Southeast and East Texas were trading lower Friday amid forecasts of rising wind generation and regional temperatures recovering to the 50s Fahrenheit. Houston Ship Channel fell 15 cents to $2.59/MMBtu Friday. Before Friday’s downward price movement, Houston Ship Channel had four consecutive trading days of increases for the week of November 4, rising from $2.375/MMBtu for November 2’s settlement to $2.74/MMBtu November 7.
