Democrats in the US House of Representatives released a longawaiteddiscussion draft of legislation that would extend and expandkey tax incentives for renewable energy and electric vehicles.Representative Mike Thompson, Democrat-California, and severalother Democrats with the House Ways and Means Committeeintroduced the Growing Renewable Energy and Efficiency Now Act of2019, or GREEN Act, Tuesday. The draft bill includes major priorities forrenewable energy backers and builds upon a tax extenders packagethat the committee introduced in June.
