Southern aims to ramp up labor productivity at Vogtle to beat in-service dates

Southern Co. management assured analysts that two delayed reactors at Alvin W. Vogtle Nuclear Plant are on track to come online in the early 2020s after subsidiary Georgia Power Co. filed an updated construction schedule with state regulators suggesting a ramp-up in labor during its peak construction period will help accelerate the plant expansion.
