Operation of Mexico's Morelos integrated gas and power project passes voter referendum

Mexican voters passed a referendum Sunday on the highly contested Morelos integral gas and power project, allowing development to continue on a project that has been under construction since late 2011. The US$1.3 billion Proyecto Integral Morelos involves a natural gas pipeline, power plant, and associated aqueduct and transmission lines and is owned by the Comision Federal de Electricidad.
