DOE offers $30B in loan guarantees for renewable and transmission projects

The Energy Department took another step last week to getnbillions of dollars in languishing loan guarantees out the door.nDOE released two loan-guarantee solicitations onnWednesday, one to support about $30 billion in renewable energynprojects, and another to support “several billion” in electricityninfrastructure transmission projects.
