A new cybersecurity initiative designed to protect the electri-ncal grid through a more tactical approach was unveiled by the nWhite House last week.nThe so-called “Electric Sector Cybersecurity Risk nManagement Maturity Project,” to be led by the Energy nDepartment in partnership with the Homeland Security nDepartment, is intended to “leverage the insight of private nindustry and public sector experts to build on existing cyberse-ncurity measures and strategies to create a more comprehensive nand consistent approach” to protecting the grid.
