Electrolyzer manufacturers have done their part to prepare for thehydrogen revolution in European energy policy, but the EU shouldurgently put policies in place to support final investment decisions inprojects, CEOs said Dec. 1.More than a year has passed since the EU launched its targets ofinstalling 6 GW of renewable hydrogen production capacity by 2024,and 40 GW by 2030, though none of the contracts for difference orother market support mechanisms were yet in place, ITM Power CEOGraham Cooley said at the EU’s European Hydrogen Week conference.
