1. US Southwest cash gas prices fell in trading throughout the region on July 29. 2. Socal Gas was trading 50 cents lower at $6.18/MMbtu, continuing its streak of volatility. While Socal city-gate fell 28 cents on the day trading at $8.03/MMbtu for July 30-31 flows. 3. The National Weather Service 8-10 day forecast predicted a 30%- 40% probability of higher temperatures throughout California. Temperatures in Sacramento Valley are expected to fall nearly 10 degrees since averaging around 104 degrees last week to 93 by Aug. 2.
