1.Prices in ERCOT rose on the Intercontinental Exchange for March 10 as temperatures in Dallas were forecast to rise seven degrees above average to 75 Fahrenheit; Houston and San Antonio trended up 8 degrees to 80 F, according to CustomWeather. 2.North Hub on-peak real-time for March 10 delivery rose $6 to trade at $20/MWh, and the off-peak contract fell $1.75 to trade at $8.25/MWh. 3.North Hub on-peak real-time contracts for the first week of March have averaged about $20.50/MWh, 17.4% higher than last year at the same time, when contracts averaged about $17.50/MWh. 4.Load forecast in ERCOT also backed the rise in prices impacted by temperatures, with forecast peakload demand for March 10 up 3.9% to 42.4 GW.
