1.1 Algonquin city-gates fell 22 cents to settle to $1.27/MMBtu on Aug. 14 for next-day flows, while Transco Zone 6 NY fell 18 cents to settle to $1.32/MMBtu. 1.2 In the production region, Dominion south increased 4 cents to settle to $1.09/MMBtu, while Columbia gas increased 5 cents to settle to $1.94/MMBtu, and TETCO M2 gained 5 cents to settle to 88 cents/MMBtu. 2.1 Total Northeast demand has fallen for the third day in a row and will continue it's decent until Aug. 16, according to S&P Global Platts Analytics data. 2.2 Total demand is expected by Platts Analytics to drop roughly 1 Bcf to 15.9 Bcf/d on Aug.15 and drop an additional 1 Bcf to roughly 15 Bcf/d Aug. 16. 2.3 The Northeast has seen a streak of above-average temperatures this summer but is forecast to drop to 4 degrees below-average over the weekend, which may be adding pressure to power burn demand in the region.
