Stronger wind and solar output combined with weak natural gas pricesto outweigh heavier peakloads in the Electric Reliability Council ofTexas market in May, pushing down on-peak prices both on the monthand year, but summer forwards started to show some resilience.With average day-ahead on-peak locational marginal prices in thelow $20s/MWh, ERCOT hubs had month-to-month decreases rangingfrom about 7% to about 11%, while the year-over-year decreasesranged from about 17% to about 20.5%.
