West gas prices continue slide amid Westcoast outage; Waha returns to negative

West natural gas cash prices continued to slide Friday amid restrictions on Canadian inflows as demand is set to stay within seasonal norms. Cheyenne Hub slid 7 cents to $1.84/MMBtu while Northwest Wyoming Pool fell 7 cents to $1.82/MMBtu. Total West demand is set to average 8.4 Bcf/d the weekend through Monday, slightly higher than the 8 Bcf/d demand over the past seven days as temperatures pace 5 degrees below normal across much of the region.
