US Southwestern day-ahead prices jumped across the board on theIntercontinental Exchange on higher regional temperatures and strongpower demand.On-peak packages have seen significant gains, reachingmultimonth highs, with Palo Verde on-peak for June 3 delivery tradingabout $11.50 higher around $48/MWh, and Mead 230 adding about $10to price just below $50/MWh. The Palo Verde off-peak package gainedabout $2.50 to price around $24/MWh.
