US Northeast cash prices fell in trading Wednesday as total demandwas forecast to dip lower and supply was predicted to inch higher.Transco Zone 6 NY had the largest declines on the day, falling 23cents to settle to $1.38/MMBtu for next-day flows.TETCO M3 fell 15 cents to settle to $1.37/MMBtu for next-day flows,and Algonquin city-gates fell 14 cents to settle to $1.49/MMBtu.Total Northeast demand was forecast by S&P Global Platts Analyticsto decrease by around 500 MMcf/d to 21.2 Bcf Thursday, with the declinescoming from residential-commercial, power, and industrial demand.
