Invenergy, leading wind developer, has 10 wind facilities under construction in six states

Wind developer Invenergy, which has built almost 15,000 MW of wind projects in the US over the past 17 years, currently has more than 2,525 MW of wind generation under construction in six states, and an additional 2,670 MW in advanced development. The Chicago-based firm, which was founded in 2001, was labeled at the end of the fourth quarter of 2019 the US’s leading wind developer by the American Wind Energy Association, or AWEA. Its 5,204 MW of wind under construction and in advanced development topped NextEra Energy Resources’ 4,869 MW total.
