Capital Dynamics purchases 400-MW solar, storage project

Capital Dynamics has purchased the 400-MW Eland Solar & StorageCenter in Kern County, California, the largest such facility in the world,the company announced Wednesday.The project is being developed by California-based 8minute SolarEnergy on 2,000 acres about 70 miles outside Lose Angeles. Initialconstruction has started and will proceed in two phases with the goalof starting operations in 2022, then reaching full operationalcapabilities in 2023, according to 8minute Solar Energy.
