Bucking the trend, the NYISO Zone A price made significant strides, rising $11.25 day on day to near $42.75/MWh. High temperatures in New York City were forecast to sit just 2 degrees below average at 63 degrees Tuesday, according to CustomWeather. Temperatures were forecast to remain at these levels through the rest of the week.
