Next-day power prices in the PJM Interconnection were mixed Tuesday as natural gas prices climbed but demand expectations weakened. PJM West Hub day-ahead on-peak traded in the mid-$20s/MWh on the Intercontinental Exchange for Wednesday delivery, falling 50 cents from the Monday settle. Though it had not traded as of 1:30 pm CST, NI Hub day-ahead on-peak was valued in the low $20s/MWh, down almost $2 on the day. In contrast, AD Hub day-ahead on-peak added about $1.50 to be valued in the upper $20s/MWh on ICE.
