Upper Midwest, Midcontinent gas prices slip as flows from NEXUS expected

Upper Midwest and Midcontinent natural gas prices declined Tuesday as NEXUS Gas Transmission is expected to start to flow again. The cash price for Michcon city-gate fell 3 cents day on day to $2.515/ MMBtu. Similarly, the cash price for Consumers city-gate fell 5 cents day on day to $2.57/MMBtu. This is the fourth consecutive day that both of these locations have fallen. There is pressure as flows are set to begin once again from the Northeast to the Upper Midwest via NEXUS.
