Day-ahead power prices generally trended down Tuesday for next-day delivery in the New York Independent System Operator footprint. The NYISO Zone G HVL on-peak day-ahead locational marginal price tumbled about $5.25 to trade near $19.75/MWh for Wednesday delivery. The corresponding off-peak package lost about $1.75 to trade near $14.75/MWh. NYISO Zone A on-peak ticked down about $4.50 day on day to trade near $18.75/MWh, while the corresponding off-peak package shed a few cents to $12.06/MWh.
