Next-day power prices in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas were poised to drop Tuesday, despite higher natural gas prices, rising demand and lower wind generation. The ERCOT North Hub day-ahead on-peak was valued in the low $130s/MWh on the Intercontinental Exchange for Wednesday delivery, $9.25 below the Friday settle.
