EIA reports bullish US natural gas storage withdrawal of 177 Bcf

Natural gas stocks dropped at a higher rate last week than the marketexpected, at 177 Bcf, and with a similarly sized storage pull expectedthis week, Henry Hub March futures were on the rise Thursday.US natural gas in storage decreased to 1.705 Tcf for the weekended February 15, the US Energy Information Administrationreported Thursday. The withdrawal was well above an S&P Global Platts’ survey of analysts calling for a 165 Bcf pull.
