Argentina edges out LNG from Trinidad and Tobago, US in Chilean gas market

Argentina’s giant Vaca Muerta field is elbowing its way into the Chilean natural gas market, leaving less room for LNG suppliers such as the US, Trinidad and Tobago and Equatorial Guinea. Government data show Chile imported 293,000 mt of gas in November, compared with 346,000 mt in October.
