West natural gas cash prices continued to slide Monday amid falling demand as temperatures paced above seasonal norms. Northwest Wyoming Pool dipped 8 cents and settled at $2.81/ MMBtu while CIG-Mainline dropped 4 cents to $2.55/MMBtu as temperatures in Denver started returning to normal. Higher-than-average temperatures of about 60 degrees are expected in Seattle Tuesday, according to the most recent forecast from the National Weather Service, putting downward pressure on prices for next-day flows.
