Argentina’s government has opened bidding for ancontract to build an underwater pipeline in the southndesigned to increase nationwide supplies of natural gas.nThe 37.7 kilomter line will have the capacity to transportn34 million cubic meters per day of gas and will stretchnacross the Strait of Magellan, connecting the Tierra delnFuego archipelago with mainland Argentina.
