Southern African gas potential

Southern Africa's gas potential does not stop at recent conventional discoveries. Coal seam and shale gas offer new opportunities and some of the big beasts of the unconventional gas industry are already bagging acreage. Moreover, South Africa itself appears intent on completing its national gas grid, providing a large market for imports of both natural gas and gas-fired electricity from neighboring countries.
