Green jobs - where and why

The 'Green Economy' needs to deliver jobs. Wind turbine manufacturers are setting up in the markets they intend to supply. By contrast, solar PV, for which transport and technical skill requirements are lower, is following labor costs. This suggests Asia will be the main beneficiary of renewables manufacturing. Wind will deliver high-value jobs to developed countries, but only so long as domestic wind power markets promises growth.
