Gas exports face a different future, but one that is also changing. Europe continues its love affair with Combined Cycle Gas Turbines, suggesting long-term growth in gas imports as domestic production declines. As such, Russia's main focus in terms of gas transmission has been on pipeline projects that retain its market share in Europe and capture more of the likely growth in demand.
