Carbon allowance prices under the EU Emissions Trading Scheme were range-bound in February, failing to break out of a price range established in January. Prices set an intra-month low and high range of €12.51 ($17.01) to €13.73 per metric ton of CO2 equivalent in the period February 1-19. That compares with an intra-month range of €12.40 to €13.80 in January.
