Shtokman Development, operator of phase one of the giant Shtokman gas field in the Barents Sea, expects to finalize estimates of capital expenditure on the project by September, when tender procedures for both offshore and onshore parts of the project would be completed, according to CEO Alexei Zagorovsky. By September, the company also plans to prepare a financial study for the project, which would be submitted to the government for final discussions on the tax regime.
