Kombikraftwerke 2 simulates how a 100% renewable energy system is technically feasible at national scale. It focuses on grid stability and power quality and how these could be secured. It is not a blueprint for the future, but nor is it a pipe dream. It provides a sense of direction, one that would challenge, if not destroy, both the current market structure and the conventional utility model.
