Portugal's Martifer Solar on October 28 announced a contract with Infrastrutture for construction of two PV systems totalling 3.05 MW in southern Italy. The plants will enter into operation later this year, taking Infrastrutture's capacity in Italy to over 9 MW. Martifer Solar is building 24 MW of turnkey systems by end-2010, with the ongoing construction contracts worth over €75 million.rnMeanwhile First Reserve Corporation said on October 29 it had completed the €276 million acquisition of SunEdison's 70-MW PV plant in the province of Rovigo, to be completed by the end of the year.
