Troll A needs authorized

Norway's Troll A platform, already supplied with electricity from the mainland, will need more than twice as much power in 2018 when the platform begins operating several more compressors than at present. To meet this need, Norwegian oil and gas company Statoil has been authorized by the petroleum and energy ministry to build and operate additional installations - including new power cables from land.
