ASN green light for six more reactors

French nuclear operator EDF has received clearance to restart six more reactors in the Creusot review, a spokeswoman for nuclear safety regulator ASN told S&P Global Platts September 5. This brings the total number of reactors cleared to 40, six more than in EDF's latest update on July 31 when it also said it submitted 48 dossiers to the regulator for the file review of its entire French fleet of 58 reactors.
