Terna sells remaining September UVACs

Terna sold 71 MW of 283 MW on offer of UVAC virtual consumption contracts for the upcoming month at a price of €29,987/MW per year, the system operator said August 30. UVAC contracts are applied to the Ancillary Services Market (or MSD) and are valid in the more demand-intensive North or Central North zones in Italy. They require eligible customers to reduce demand within 15 minutes and, if necessary, maintain that reduction for a period of four hours, when activated.
