Nuon snaps up solar sites

Nuon has bought three utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects in the Netherlands from developer PowerField for a potential total 27.5 MW, the Vattenfall-owned utility said September 3. Nuon's stated aim is to be fossil-free within a generation. It is accelerating green power initiatives in line with the government's urgency about closing coal plants by 2030 and hit ambitious climate targets.
