“The pace is not fast enough. We want to encourage the Nordic countries to move faster,” Sutter said in an interview this month. Sutter made the same plea directly to his power company and grid operator colleagues at an energy conference organized by the Swedish business paper Dagens Industri. Wholly owned by the Estonian state, Eesti Energia has about 2,000 MW of shale oil-fired capacity and about 132 MW of renewable capacity.
