Federal Grid Company has proposed to the Energy Ministry to make amendments to the Russian Energy law in order to allow FGC to keep the stakes in generation companies that it received during RAO UES restructuring for another three years, Otkritie said November 3, citing a report from Interfax.rnFGC's major stakes include 24% in TGK-6, 32% in TGK-7, 27.5% in TGK-11, 20% in Kuzbassenergo, 40% in 0GK-1, 10% in OGK-6 and 3.4% in Mosenergo. "FGC plans to sell these stakes later at more attractive market valuations in order to raise financing for its massive investment program.
