MVM sells Q4 power at auction

MVM Trade, the wholesale trading arm of state-held Hungarian power group MVM, said September 15 it had sold a total of 928 GWh of electricity for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2011 at a September 14 capacity auction involving nine products.MVM sold 300 MW of base-load capacity for daily delivery during October 16-31, totaling 116 GWh, at a price of Forint 18,060 ($85.95, €62.93) per MWh; 350 MW of base-load capacity for daily delivery throughout November, totaling 252 GWh, for Forint 18,613 per MWh; and 180 MW of base-load capacity for daily delivery throughout December, totaling 134 GWh, for Forint 17,721 per MWh.
