Germany’s Sunfire plans to industrialize its alkaline electrolyzer outputto produce 500 MW/year by 2023, it said in a statement Oct. 7.The company aims to further increase production of the renewablehydrogen production technology to 1 GW/year in the future, it said.The commercialization of the production line will raise Sunfire’spressurized alkaline electrolyzer production capacity from 40 MW/yearat present.“We have worked hard to develop a highly efficient and reliabletechnology in numerous demonstration projects. Now it is time to fullytap into its potential,” Sunfire CEO Nils Aldag said in the statement.
