Pan-European day-ahead power market coupling was extended acrosssix new borders in Central Eastern Europe on June 17, the 24 parties tothe Interim Coupling solution said in a statement.Cross-zonal capacity on the borders (PL-DE, PL-CZ, PL-SK, CZ-DE,CZ-AT, HU-AT) were implicitly allocated via the Euphemia algorithm, itsaid.The project connects “the borders of 4M MC (Czech-Slovak-Hungarian-Romanian market coupling) with the Multi-RegionalCoupling (MRC) by introducing Net Transmission Capacity (NTC) basedimplicit capacity allocation,” it said.
