Swiss reservoir levels fall to lowest point for Week 16 in recorded history

Swiss reservoirs fell to the lowest point for data recorded extending back to 1997 in the week to April 25 (Week 16), data from the Swiss Federal Energy Office showed April 29 as an extended cold spell delayed seasonal snowmelt and the replenishment of stocks. In Week 16, Swiss reservoir levels marginally fell 15 GWh, or 0.2 percentage points compared to the weekly decline of 144 GWh recorded the prior week. Reservoir levels stand at 757 GWh, or 8.5% of total nominal capacity for the week.
