UK asset manager Limejump adds 200 renewable energy sites in a month

Shell-owned generation asset manager Limejump has added more than 200 renewable energy sites to its platform via Power Purchase Agreements since January, the company said Feb. 17. The sites are mainly wind and solar assets, adding some 170 MW to Limejump’s virtual power plant portfolio, taking it over 1 GW in total. The VPP also manages hydro, anaerobic digester and battery storage assets. “We’ve had a terrific response from the market in recent weeks, a time when the power market has been so volatile,” said Limejump CEO Catherine Newman.
