Thirty-five scientists and breeders from 13 countries including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Cuba, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru and Colombia attended the training course. The course was held at CIAT's Headquarters located in Cali, Colombia under the coordination of Drs. Cesar P. Martinez, Jagadish Rane and Eleonora Izquierdo, who provided technical support throughout the training course.
