The findings of research seems to indicate that a well designed and orchestrated technology transference event improves the odds of successful tranferences, particularly in control styled organizations. Some of the most important elements to consider in the implementation include: assess the organizational culture in terms of "readiness for change."rnSmall-hole technology offers substantial benefits in financial savings and community relations improvement. The technology is already reasonably operational but it is continuing to develop in terms of application. Its use is broadening which expands its benefits far beyond a specialty technology. As more organizations adopt the technology and become successful in their tranference efforts more learning pertaining to the "how to" of technology transference becomes available.
