Rig Source Inc. recently launched the Terramac RT9 rubber track multipurpose crawler carrier. The carrier is available with many types of equipment mounted on the back, or as a base unit of the cab and carrier. The available dump bed can fold down, allowing the operator to side-load pallets or other items for carriage across sensitive ground. With a ground pressure of 4.9 psi when fully loaded, the carrier is designed for situations where the contractor wishes to avoid making ruts with a wheeled vehicle.
